We came here after walking what seemed like forever from Pier 13. The goal of every Black Bear Diner is to deliver scrumptious food in a friendly environment. We promise to make your visit a pleasant one, and we’ll try to keep the puns to a bear minimum (we said “try”). Fine dining in a contemporary, luxurious atmosphere, the Seven Fires Steakhouse at Black Bear Casino Resort welcomes you! Our presentation grill will excite your senses as our delicious entrées entice your palate.

The Seven Fires Steakhouse is open for lunch daily from am – pm! The flagship Hungry Bear Box gives diners a taste of the BlackBear experience.

Hearty portions of brisket, pork and hot links are rounded out with slaw, crisps, BlackBear’s artisan pickles and a serving of BlackBear BBQ sauce. From buffalo wings to smoky ribs to family feasts, there’s a fire laden feed to suit any appetite. I am a huge lover of all things buffet and was happy to jump out of bed for a full warm. Their food is consistently very goo and proprietors Dan and Laurie are as cordial as they come. The Friday night fish fry and Saturday night prime rib.

Like pork, black bear meat must not be served pink. It must be cooked until medium to well-done. I will gladly settle for bear steaks fried in a sizzling, cast-iron skillet, nothing beats bear steaks broiled over a hot bed of charcoal. Lay them on the grill close to the heat, brown them on one side and then turn them over. Find your favorite food and enjoy your meal.

When traveling up the North Shore, you can find any one of our locations! The Black Bear Bier Garten is one of the best places to eat in downtown Blue Ridge. I have had German friends visit and loved it. The beer is amazing and the giant german pretzels are incredibly wonderful. I recomend Black Bear to all my clients and everyone has raved about it!
