The flange should be a little higher than your finished floor. However, if you’re adding new flooring your flange could be too low. Products are available to create the proper seal when the toilet is in place, such as taller wax rings and flange spacers.

The water supply line connects to the underside of the toilet ’s tank. Unscrew by han if possible, or use an adjustable wrench. If you find a rounded surface rather than flat edges where it connects to the tank, use pliers to get a grip in place of a wrench.

The unique design holds the bolts upright and the gasket in place. Replacing a toilet seat is quick and easy.
