Last episode of big love

The closing moments of the show addressed pretty much every plot thread from the last season , but in a way so pat. That was an exhausting opener. How many times do you think they had to send an intern out for more index cards while storyboarding that episode ? Some of the stories got a little weird notably in season 4. When Men and Mountains Meet, had some shocking scenes, but overall I felt disappointed with how the show ended. This was the final episode , after all, and I felt that. I Watched the last episode last night and was so sad that it had to end.

Then again, the last couple of episodes were frantic too—arguably that’s Big Love’s default mode—and yet managed moments of resonance. But considering that we’re winding down the series I was not entertained by this latest episode , and wondered why-oh-why the writers persist in cramming so many story elements into.
