Amateur radio license lookup

Search Scope: Matches licenses with the following radio service codes: HA, HV. Please be aware that some combinations of search criteria may result in a longer wait. The License Search here provides access to the most basic attributes of a license.


These services access the official FCC call sign and license database using a variety of methods. However, only by contacting the FCC directly can you assure up-to-the-minute data. This Database Lookup will return the amateur radio call sign holders which currently hold an active license and will be limited to the zip code specified below.

The following table contains a list of call signs that were granted to new amateur radio operators by the FCC over the past two weeks. Depending on the year when the person was license this can sometimes be a very difficult process. The amateur and amateur -satellite services are for qualified persons of any age who are interested in radio technique solely with a personal aim and without pecuniary interest.

The license and application databases are replaced at the beginning of every week (usually Sunday morning around 08:ET) with new data from the FCC, and infrequently at other times for database configuration changes. During these periods (usually about ten minutes each), access speed may be quite slow.
